About SpawnWatch
SpawnWatch watches for the next game to spawn: the indie title or Roblox experience that is about to be everywhere, spotted from the data before the crowd arrives.
What we publish
- The Heat Index: a weekly ranking board for Steam indies and Roblox, rebuilt from live player data.
- Creator-Built Games Watch: the chart of games built and published by influencers and streamers for their own audiences.
- The Streams Hub: upcoming and past creator livestreams for the games on the board.
- Flagship pieces: occasional longer reads on games we are actually playing, not embargo-day review filler.
- A weekly newsletter that wraps the board into one email.
Attribution policy
Proper attributions, always. It is a founding rule of this publication, not a footer formality:
- Every game is credited to its developer and linked to its official page.
- Every stream is credited to its creator and linked to the creator's own channel.
- We embed official players instead of re-uploading, so views and revenue stay with the people who made the work.
- We never republish clips without the creator's permission.
If you are a developer or creator and something here is credited wrong, tell us and we will fix it fast.
Who makes this
SpawnWatch is an independent, one-family operation. The playtesting department is a teenager with extremely fast-moving taste, which turns out to be the most accurate trend signal in the building.
